This is an original german WW2 Submariners U-BOAT Hanhart Stopwatch, in good working order.

These kinds of stopwatches were mostly used on destroyers and U-Boats, used to calculate the distance that a torpedo had run before it detonated or the time between the ship’s artillery firing and the impact at target. This allowed them to adjust the time setting of these torpedoes / projectile’s.

The pusher/crown is for winding the movement (turn) and for start-stop-reset the movement (push).
The large central hand is for counting the seconds and the small hand is for counting the minutes; the central hand measures to 30 seconds in one orbit and the small hand measures up to 15 minutes.
Everything works very well!

Complete with a box; i'm not sure if this is the original Hanhart box.

Will be very well packed, and shipped with registered mail.
