A great and rare SONY set - a tuner and an integrated stereo amplifier Sony TA-F55. AMPLIFIER: 65 + 65 watts into 8Ω REAL. This model of the FIRST EDITION from 1980, gained recognition due to its high performance. The "FINAL" reinforcing elements are cooled by a very unique freon-filled heat dissipation system. Sony F55 has a low total harmonic distortion, low TIM and low NFB, thanks to the high bandwidth of its output bipolar transistors (80 MHz) and the efficient and specific Pulse Power Supply (PPS) (The Pulse Power Supply gained wide use at the end of the 1990s with the slim home cinema amplifiers), which according to Sony engineers have completely eliminated the magnetic interference caused by traditional transformers. All this results in a total harmonic distortion of: 0.008% (20 Hz - 20 Khz). Beautifuly finished - the front panel is characterized by an electronically driven volume control with two-speed soft-touch buttons and a practical linear display illumined in green. Characteristic feature: an extended phono section - the possibility of connecting turntables with MM or MC cartridges - four options. The gold-plated inputs are particularly prestigious. Completely different from the other models and perfectly efficient. The TA-F55 provides a sophisticated sound and a detailed and rhythmically driven acoustics.
The tuner is also beautifully crafted and richly equipped - it receives the stereo signal without any problem - the dynamics and sound at the highest level.
