A short shift gear lever mechanism for the Getrag 265 gearbox from the 70s and 80s. 
In excellent condition, mint and entirely complete. 

(Gearbox not included.) 
This lot only entails the short shift mechanism and not the entire gearbox. 
The pictures with the entire gearbox are only to provide a better impression of the setup and mounting of the short shift. 

Such short shifts were fitted at the time for more direct, shorter and faster shifting.  


The well-known Getrag 265 gearbox was used in the 70s and 80s by BMW and Alpina in various types of BMWs including: 
E24 - 6 series, E23 - 7 series, E12 - 5 series, E28 - 5 series, M3 E30,....... 

Of course, this short shift can also be placed in these BMW and Alpina models.
