Claus, Martin (1888 - 1956) 
Famous German cartoonist, caricaturist and fashion illustrator. He worked for the “Meggendorfer Blätter” and the “Fliegende Blätter” from 1913 onwards. His focus was on reporting on World War I and the decadence of the twenties and thirties.

This is an original copy in a very well-preserved condition. 

The “Meggendorfer Blätter” were published from 1888 until 1944, they contained sophisticated artistic illustrations.
