Three brass plates belonging to the “czapka” headgear of the Polish Guard lancers, with the “N” of Napoleon and a crown in the middle.
The Polish lancers were integrated in the Imperial Guard in March 1807.
One of the plates bears trace of the “N” of Napoleon and the crown, another has a stain of what is likely ink.
Together with these three plates a page was found on which, in ink, was reproduced the entire plate. I can’t determine its purpose.
The last two photos, taken in the museum, do not show the plates for sale but have the only purpose of demonstrating their application on the headgear.
