The Philips 22RH532 Electronic from 1973 is the first Philips MFB speaker. It is a three-way system with two built-in power amplifiers per speaker. This reproducer is the main Hi-Fi asset from Philips from the 1970s for a reason. The small cabinet with a content of 15 litres produces flawless bass tones, and can hold its own compared to much larger speakers.

The built-in amplifiers have a total power of 60 watts continuously. A number of extras are built in, like an automatic power switch for the amplifiers. Immediately after a signal is delivered, these are switched on, and after 2 minutes of silence, they are automatically switched off again.
The speakers can be connected to a preamplifier with line output, but it is also possible to connect them to a simple radio or a power amplifier. It is also possible to link 2 or more speakers in parallel for more power.

The back has an on/off switch, a switch for setting the input voltage and an L/R switch. There is an emblem on the front side which lights up red when the amplifiers are switched on.
