A very well and neatly maintained typewriter of the brand Remington type: 2000-Sperry edge.
Remington Rand division of SPERRY RAND HOLLAND N.V.

The typewriter is in a very good and working condition.

Comes with case - warranty
instructions and a control document for the buyer.
The plastic case does have some scratches (signs of wear).

In 1873, Remington produced the world’s first series of typewriters based on a design by Christopher Latham Sholes and Carlos Glidden.
Remington Rand was originally called Sewing Machine and Arms Factory E.Remington and was based in IIlion in the state of New York. The Remington was and has remained a high quality product in many versions for over a century.
It is irrefutable that the first series (25 models) in September 1873 is in the name of this Remington, as well as the accompanying QWERTY keyboard layout.
