Yamaha's CS1x is a digital synthesizer that emulates analogue style, sounds and control S. The powerful sound of analogue but with all the conveniences of digital! All parameters are real-time and MIDI controllable. In addition to a fantastic sound set with great synthetic bass, pads, voices, synths, strings, leads and arpeggiated sequences, there are plenty of very useful drum sounds, all with analogue sound quality.

The CS1x is the perfect synth for dance and other electronic music producers. The many rotary knobs provide instant and hands-on real-time tweakability: 6 dials for attack, release, filter cutoff, resonance and 2 more freely assignable buttons. Two scene memories remember the position of the envelope and filters you have set with the dials so that they can be directly invoked and you can even use the Mod wheel to morph from one scene to another, very cool! The built-in digital effects sound great, but the Arpeggiator totally steals the show: 30 inspiring patterns that are ideal for making trance, techno, house, bass lines and basic arpeggio patterns. 

Excellent samples and lots of memory slots (128 presets, 128 users) and MIDI capabilities make the CS1x perfect for both live and studio use. It is no coincidence that this great synth used in many professional productions.
