Large and small Rolykit, designed in 1973 by Samuel Meijering from the Netherlands.
Size large Rolykit is 145 x 28 cm and weighs 2,000 grams.
Small Rolykit 107 x 28 cm and weighs 1,500 grams, both in good condition.
The famous Rolykit is made of plastic. It is a revolutionary hexagonal roll-up storage system. The Rolykit can be rolled out in one go, while the contents remain in place in all compartments. The secret of the Rolykit is that, as it is rolled out, every compartment only becomes accessible when it is flat on a surface. When rolling it up, the bottom of one compartment will become the lid of another.
Meijering, together with Gied Jaspers, sold the rights for the Rolykit for 1 million guilders to producer Van Der Molen. Worldwide 17 million were sold.
