1964 Jaguar E-Type Series I, 4.2 L Roadster Open Two Seater LHD, in very good conditions. It was delivered new in New York in April of the same year with its Opalescent Golden Sand body colour and light Tan interior trim. The left the Coventry factory in march 1964 in the same colour combination that´s wearing today; a month later, the car was delivered in New York. This “matching number” car was restored by renown Auto Storica Barcelona restoration Center in the last 6 months, including body painting and complete mechanical overhaul. The professionally rebuilt engine is very powerful and 100% reliable, with Exhilarating performance. Still with the original synchromesh 4 speed gearbox, providing an easy shifting and a soft clutching. As new pristine condition trimming in tan leather and new top brown canvas were fitted some weeks ago in. The paint is a high-quality finish with a beautiful shine in his same exactly Jaguar formula. The chrome bumpers and taillights are in like-new condition. New Koni shock absorbers guaranty great handling and the brand new brakes are very effective. All chassis, body and engine numbers match with the factory Heritage records of the car.
