This beautiful full colour original page by Ortiz was never published, as the comic it was supposed to appear in ceased publication at issue No 167... the issue before this was meant to appear in! Due to this fact, this is an incredibly rare page, which not even fans of the comic, nor fans of the artist will have seen before. 

The four panels are packed full of Ortiz's classic fairy characters attempting to rescue a maiden trapped in a tower.

The panels are painted directly onto the page, which has a small tear to the top.

This page, which could be described as a ghost page, as it was never published, is typical of Ortiz's smooth colour work and juvenile subject matter which can also be apreciated by adults.

Ortiz has had a long and varied career in Spain, the USA and UK markets; where he worked on titles such as The Eagle (Smokeman, UFO Agent), 2000AD (Judge Dredd, Rogue Trooper) and many more.
