This nude study of Modesty Blaise comes straight from the portfolio of Neville Colvin and is accompanied by an annotated page labelled “MB Nudie Character”.

Neville Colvin took over as artist on the strip in 1980 and this was one of the character studies he presented to writer Peter O’Donnell, author of the stories and strips.

Colvin went on to draw the famous strip for 16 entire stories and enjoyed a very good working relationship with the writer, who considered his style as valuable to the strip as that of Jim Holdaway, the original Blaise artist.

It is very rare indeed to find artwork of Modesty Blaise in revealing poses, and this piece is being offered with no reserve.

Artwork will be sent professionally packed and by tracked courrier.

Both pages measure 295mm x 210mm
