Joseph Ulrich Danhauser, Vienna 1780 - 1829 / Landesfabr. Danhauser Vienna 

Seven-part furniture set consisting of a canapé, two armchairs and four chaises - Vienna around 1814/1815
Mahogany veneer partially ebonised and gold-plated, applications made of wood / lime paste.
Restoration was carried out by Museum Stadt Österreich (MAK): re-gilded, polish freshened up. However, as minimally as possible, so that the original was preserved to a large extent!
On the bottom: oval company plaque labelled: “K.K. Privileg Landesfabr./aller Gattungen Meubl./des/Joseph Danhauser in Wien”.

Joseph Ulrich Danhauser 1780 - 1829, Vienna.
A seven-piece set of seat furniture comprising: a canapé, two armchairs and four side chairs - Vienna circa 1814/1815
Mahogany veneer partially ebonised and gilded, applications made of wood/chalk paste.
Restoration was carried out by Museum Stadt Österreich (MAK): gold-plating, polishing refreshment. However, as little as possible so that the original is largely preserved.
Oval company badge inscribed on the underside: “K.K. Privilege Landesfabr./aller Gattungen Meubl./des/Joseph Danhauser in Vienna”.
