A remarkable ecclesiastical alms box dating from the early 20th century.
From an Italian church, still in excellent condition.
Well preserved and thick wood.
The top cover can be completely removed to collect the alms.
It has a dotted cross decoration on the front face. 
The top is not related to and did not originate with this alms box, but is of the same period.
