When De Spaarnestad and De Geïllustreerde Pers merged as Oberon in 1972, the studio in Haarlem was dissolved. 
The comic magazines Sjors and Pep were also merged in 1975 into Eppo and Bus joined the new comic magazine Eppo and made the comic “Stef Ardoba” (1975), a mixture of past and science fiction. “Stef Ardoba” ran until 1982.
