An original illustration of the Andy Capp series, signed by its author Réginald Smythe. Already framed. 
Size: 38 x 14 cm.

In 1957, Smythe created for a regional edition of the Daily Mirror the Andy Capp series, which was revived the following year in the national edition. This satirical chronicle of the working class delighted the English public and enjoyed great fame in the many countries where it was translated, such as France, where Andy Capp was published in the Poco magazine from 1969, then in Charlie Mensuel. 

The frame will be carefully packed and swiftly shipped upon receipt of payment.
