Decorative object from France.
I have been told that this is a hotel service cabinet. That shows which rooms are occupied.
Let the experts decide. In any case, it is decorative.
The seven cards with red dots can move left and right and they are powered by a wire to a copper coil.
This box must of course be connected to the power grid in order to function.
I don't know exactly how it works, but the experts will know.
Under the steel wire was a red sticker. When I lifted the wire to clean it, the sticker pulverised.
It had the text: British made Agf ?????) illegible. Shown on photos 15 and 16.
So it is in any case of British manufacture.

This lot has been carefully cleaned and will be very carefully packaged and shipped by registered and insured post (with a Track and Trace code to track your shipment). Pick-up in Ridderkerk (Zuid-Holland), the Netherlands, is also possible. I serve delicious, freshly ground coffee.
