De Pandabeer Manschli die door Steiff gemaakt werd, voornamelijk  voor verkoop in Japan. In Japan wordt hij Manshuri genoemd. 

Hij is van het zogenaamde zijde pluche wat erg zacht is en aanvoelt als zijde. Hij heeft aan zijn rechterarm een bamboe met bladeren van stof. Zijn favoriete voedsel. 

Hij heeft geen borstetiket van papier maar wel het Steiff knoopje en het gele vaandeltje. Gemaakt in dit milllenium. 

Deze beer heeft een klein stukje stof/elastiek uitsteken uit de naad aan de achterkant van het been. Dit is te verwijderen.
