Offered, a very fine Ford V8 Cabriolet / convertible super deluxe from 1941.

If you want to drive a convertible V8 this summer then this is your chance, this very neat Ford is ready to hit the road. The car has a valid Dutch registration and has been  inspected by the Dutch National Road Administration, the Ford was approved without any comments. So lower the hood and enjoy.

It is not surprising the Dutch National Road Administration had no comments, as the previous owner spent €11,000 in recent years to restore the Ford technically to top-notch condition. It was hardly driven after that. Think of new fuses, new steering balls, new steering rod, 4 new shock absorbers etc., etc.

The well-known V8 side valve runs perfectly! It starts smoothly and makes no nasty noises. It is a real pleasure to drive with the top down and listen to the lovely V8 sound! The gearbox (three on the three) shifts well and has no defects. 

Optically the Ford is also in very neat condition, the paint / lacquer still looks good. For bidders via the Internet: it is and remains an 81-year-old car so do not expect a new dealer car!!

The interior is in good, undamaged condition, the hood operates smoothly and is also in neat condition. Indicators were mounted for safety reasons. The chrome shines nicely and is in neat condition.

All in all a nice, complete neat car for years of enjoyment. The great thing about this Ford is that nothing needs to be done to it, turn the key and drive into the sunset.
