Originele, antieke kolenbak op markante leeuwenpoten vervaardigd uit (wortelnoten/walnoot)hout met koperen details (handvatten/ringen aan twee zijdes en binnenbak). 

Mooi houtsnijwerk op de poten en langs de zijkanten. Bovenin zit een koperen bak waar je bijvoorbeeld een plantenbak in kunt zetten maar waar van origine kolen in werden gedaan. Een kleine lade aan een van de zijkanten.  Onderop het item lijkt met potlood 1789 of 1759 te zijn geschreven (zie laatste foto’s).

Item is gezien de leeftijd in een goede staat. Wel gebruiks-/ouderdomssporen zoals een kleine opening in een van de zijdes door wat lijkt wat brandschade. Verder verwijs ik graag naar de foto’s welke de staat goed weergeven. Foto’s zijn onderdeel van deze beschrijving.
