Space Explorer Robot is een stoere, Japanse blikken robot, gemaakt door Horikawa in de jaren ‘60. Hoogte ongeveer 30 cm, gewicht ongeveer 600 gram. De robot werkt op 2 x 1,5 V batterijen (niet bijgeleverd).  Hij loopt voorwaarts , stopt, het luik op zijn borst valt op en een scherm vertoont een ruimte tafereel in kleur (op de originele doos staat: ‘the flight of Apollo’). De robot komt wat moeizaam op gang, maar wanneer hij eenmaal loopt, blijft de actie door gaan. 

De robot vertoont krasjes, gebruikssporen, maar is overall in zeer goede staat. Eén contactplek in het het batterijhuis is gesoldeerd (komt de werking alleen maar ten goede). Het batterijhuis is verder schoon. Geen doos. Aangetekende verzending vanuit Nederland met PostNL.
