Antike russische Ikone als Monatsikone „Juni“ aus dem 19. Jahrhundert. Handgemalt mit Eitemperafarben auf einer Holztafel mit Kreidegrund und goldener Grundierung. Typische Methode der Ikonenherstellung im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert in Zarenrussland. Sehr detaillierte und fein ausgeführte Malerei. Perfekt aufeinander abgestimmte Farbkontraste und gelungene Schattierungen. Die Ikone und alle Heiligen sind beschriftet. Die Beschriftungen sind gut lesbar.

Die Malerei enthält sehr feine und authentische Krakeleen (siehe Fotos). Partielle Restaurierungen und Korrekturen sind vorhanden. Die Ikone befindet sich in einem guten Zustand mit typischen altersbedingten Gebrauchspuren (siehe Fotos).

Vertieftes Mittelfeld (Levkas). Auf der Rückseite befinden sich zwei Quersponkas. Schwere und stabile Holztafel.

Hierbei handelt es sich um eine Ikone aus einem nordrussischen Altgläubigenatelier. Die Ikone entstand in der ersten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts.
