Selling one of my lonka shell pendants. Nice example with zig zag grooves and rubbed with natural ochres.
The shell is 16,5 cm high and 12,5cm wide.
Its is good condition and have some deep grooves at the back. See photos. These lonka shells were highly prized objects and were traded over long distances. Mainly worn by initiated men of different tribes. Often the string was made of human hair.
