A rare Trabant P 601 Kübel, it is an ex-military original and still has its first paint job.

This rare version of the Trabant was built using the classic modified 601 floorpan with an iron rear. It was the equivalent of the "VW 181" and the Jeep USA. Today, they are highly sought after as summer vehicles and "beach cars".

The bodywork is very solid and preserved, and is complete with the chassis frame.

The interior had been restored by the previous owner and appears well with no tears and solid upholstery, sheathing has been applied to the floor and the typical rubber carpet.

Mechanically the car has been started with an external power supply, there is a video of the engine running, however a general inspection and restoration of some parts may be required.

The underbody has some rust from normal use typical of open cars, but it is very light, with a flat floor.

A valid bill of sale with chassis number will be provided to facilitate registration.
