1938 BMW 320 Limousine "Cabriolet conversion".

This BMW produced in June 1938 originally started out as a "Limousine" version, i.e. a closed two-door, and was later converted to a "Cabriolet" version when sold.

It was bought about 30 years ago in Eastern Europe, in the Poland area, and had been found in a country cottage, hidden for a long time and disassembled of many parts: the former owner had started the restoration without ever finishing it. It is possible that it was a parade car, given the original black colour and the presence of a flag holder on the right mudguard.

It is unclear when the car was converted to a cabriolet.

The bodywork is very solid, with no significant signs of rust, despite being in need of restoration: the original colour was black, as per BMW's certificate (see photos).

The engine has been started and is working (there is a video of the engine running), the gearbox is not stuck.

The interior features the original dashboard, however, the front and rear seats have been retrofitted.

The underbody and chassis are generally solid, however, it is a car for restoration.

It is also an excellent basis for a BMW Sport, given its excellent chassis and complete mechanics.

We will take care of the transfer of ownership remotely; affordable shipping throughout Italy, Europe and the rest of the world. You can also conveniently pick up the car on site, as it can stay 15 days at our storage facility free of charge.

The seller reserves the right to claim compensation if the buyer does not pay for the purchase, which shall automatically be deemed to have occurred with the winning bid and obliges the buyer to make the payment, as per the sales contract available on the seller’s website.
