Le socle est en marbre rouge alicante. Il comprend un encrier aux détails stylisés typiques des années 1930 (gobelet en verre manquant) et une très jolie sculpture de lapin en bronze ou régule à patine dorée, avec des détails qui le rendent très vivant.
Un objet ancien à faire revivre comme décoration en porte plumes ou porte stylos, pour apporter une touche d'originalité sur un bureau ou dans une bibliothèque
