Calice in argento, punzone “TORRETTA”, Genova XVIII secolo.

Calice sacro con base circolare gradinata decorata con motivi floreali. Fusto a balaustro inciso a fogliame. Sottocoppa con decoro a foglie stilizzate. Interno della coppa trattato a vermeille. Il punzone “TORRETTA”, famosissimo attraverso i secoli, rappresenta un castello stilizzato con due torri laterali, ispirato forse all’antico “Castrum Romanum” sull’altura di Garzano a Genova. 

DIMENSIONI: altezza circa 21,5 cm - diametro base circa 12 cm - peso: 306g

CONSERVAZIONE: il calice è in ottimo stato di conservazione. Da segnalare solo normali ossidazioni dovute all’epoca del manufatto e qualche lieve e trascurabile ammaccatura al sottocoppa.
