Eine echte Rarität mit erschütternder Bedeutung-ein verletzter Soldat wird geführt.

"Fuzzy-Wuzzy" ist eine Dichtung des englischen Authors  Rudyard Kipling, veröffentlicht 1892 als Teil der" Barrack Room" Balladen Er beschreibt  darin den Respekt der einfachen britischen Soldaten für den Mut  der Hadendoa Kämpfer die gegen die britische Armee im  Sudan und Eritrea kämpften.

"Fuzzy-wuzzy" war aber auch ein abwertender Begriff  für schwarze Leute, sei es von Afrika, Australien oder Papua -Neuginea,  wegen ihrer  eigenartige Haarstruktur.  (Fuzzy)
Durch Kiplings Roman wurde der Ausdruck populär.

Die australischen Soldaten benutzten den Begriff "Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels"  im Word War II  in Anerkennung der grossen Unterstützung  durch die Helfer und Krankenträger in Papua-Neuginea- die verletzte Soldaten retteten und während der Kämpfe versorgten.

Dieses Stück stammt aus dem Nachlass eines australischen Soldaten, gefertigt in Papua-Neuginea . als Erinnerung an seine Rettung durch die Einheimischen. Ca. 1942 entstanden.
