Flip-over alarm clock by the Japanese brand Copal.

This is the semi-legendary model 229, including day indication (in Dutch), and moreover it is made in a beautiful deep red colour.

This specific model was featured in at least two episodes of "Mad Men". 

Beautiful design features of the Copal 229 are its slanted base, due to which the alarm clock is pointed slightly upwards, and the beautifully shaped alarm button.
In addition, the continuously turning coloured dial on the left side of Copal on the display is a nice detail. 

The sober but elegant lines are clearly modernist.

Signed next to the display, and on the bottom with a sticker label. Even the sticker label of the store where it was once purchased is still present.

Width:  18.5 cm
Depth: 8 cm
Height: 7.3 cm

Condition:
Very good to excellent. Kept its colour beautifully. No damage or stains anywhere. 
It is relatively quiet for a flip-clock.

In perfect working order, including alarm, lighting and rotating dial.

Minor scratches from use here and there, on the display as well as on the casing.
