1. A lovely Silver Plated Sugar Caster made by The Goldsmith & Silversmith Co. from London, around 1890.
Established in 1880 in London. The original partners were William Gibson and John Lawrence Langman. In 1890 the bought Mappin Brothers, sold to Mappin & Webb in 1902. In 1898 the firm converted into a limited liablity company under the style Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd. The firm was amalgamated in 1952 in Garrard & Co Ltd. The firm used the trade mark REGENT PLATE

2. A lovely Silver Plated Sugar Caster made by Viners of Sheffield, around 1920.
The business was started around 1901 by Adolphe Viener and his sons. Viners bought two ancient Sheffield firms of cutlers: Thomas Turner and Harrison Bro. & Howson. The "Alpha" trade mark was owned by Harrison Brothers & Howson. They eventually became one of the most important cutlers from England and World. 
The brand is now owned by "Oneida" from U.S.

3. A pair of silver plated hand engraved sugar caster, made in Sheffield, England, around 1900.

Height: 16.5 cm; Mid. Diameter: 7 cm; Both Weight: 360 g
