Dear Bidder
Please note, you are bidding on a customised Rolex watch. By definition, this is a Rolex watch with the addition of customised or aftermarket parts. Customisations can include modifications to the watch case, hands, or bezel (for example the addition of diamonds), or artwork and designs to the watch dial. In the case of watch dials, these can be either customised original dials, or aftermarket manufactured dials. These modifications are common within the luxury watch sector, particularly with Rolex watches. We ask sellers to mention any known modifications in the description. It should be noted that in certain circumstances Rolex could decline servicing or repairs to watches modified without their express permission.

Pre-owned Rolex Datejust ref. 1601 in steel with a bright aftermarket green dial with zircons, from approx. the '70s.

The Rolex Datejust is considered the definitive “watch”: its design has barely changed in 60 years and is a familiar sight even to non-enthusiasts.

This Rolex has all the signature aesthetics of a Datejust, which include a fluted bezel, baton hour markers, and the Cyclops magnifying bubble over the date window.

The Datejust has stood the test of time as its been around since the 50’s. Throughout that time period, there have been different versions made using different colors, metal types, and bezels, but the overall design has remained unchanged. This vintage style is definitely a big part of its appeal.
