Released in September 2022, this was part of a trio of inaugural releases from the distillery which included this ex-bourbon cask matured single malt, alongside an oloroso sherry finish and an ex-Rioja wine cask finished expression.

Lagg distillery is the second to have been built on the island and like the first, was built by Isle of Arran Distillers. Lagg focusses on the production of peated single malt, a counter-balance to the traditionally un-peated make of its sister distillery at Lochranza (although it has produced both styles). An experimental producer, it has plans to conduct investigations into the effects of peat and different yeast strains in its whisky making prosses. 

This 3-year-old heavily peated whisky has been aged in ex-Bourbon casks and is one of 10,000 bottles.
