Early Apple prototype-type GVCHC 02 (never before offered for sale)


A unique prototype of an external keyboard for the Apple IIe, executed in a style similar to the Macintosh Plus Keyboard which was not introduced until 1986. Inside the keyboard case, the PCB for the number pad is marked: ”Bottier et Clavier pour Apple //e” (Case and Keyboard for Apple IIe). There are also several stickers inside the keyboard case (two of them with rare Apple stamps marked: ”MILLSTREET TEST”). What is more, the computer and the keyboard are working very well. The history of the creation of this prototype is really interesting and will certainly attract the interest of collectors or museums. The external keyboard is made of high-quality materials, with great attention to detail. In addition, there is an original box with matching serial number.
