HISTORY/OVERVIEW
The Simca 1200 S Coupé is a rare car with quite a fascinating history. Mr Noci Giancarlo, a space engineer, owned the car his whole life after buying it new in Florence. His heirs then sold it.

It is a rare car with documented history and a sole owner. The number plates and all its papers are original.

EXTERIOR
The bodywork is in its original green colour, quite sound, with only minor flaws due to wear from ordinary use. However, it features all those hard-to-find profiles, details and characteristics, giving the car a vintage flavour. 

The underbody is sound and in working order and recently underwent dedicated restoration works. The latest technical inspection did not point out any defects.

INTERIOR
The original interior is in beautiful condition with only minimal repairs: the wooden steering wheel, the dashboard and the instruments are beautiful and original.

MECHANICS
Mechanically, the engine is new, as documented by a technical statement and photos issued by a specialised Simca mechanic: the car starts immediately and drives smoothly on the road. The battery is new. The technical inspection on July 2023 was successful and is valid until July 2025.

DOCUMENTATION
Indeed, the car has a complete and unparalleled set of documents: from the first sales invoice at the dealership to the last complete documented engine overhaul in 2021. 

It still has black number plates and a booklet with original pages from the first registration.

This car had been previously awarded, but the buyer did not fulfil the payment. Therefore, it was put up for auction again.
