Michael Boehm (b.1944) is a German glassware and ceramics designer.

Between 1959-62, he studied Glasfachschule, Hadamar and 1962—66, Hochschule für Bildende Künste, Kassel.

Boehm joined Rosenthal in 1966. His limited-edition Reticelli range illustrated his interest in Italian glass by incorporating cotton twist threads in the molten glass-like 17th-century Venetian vessels. His Rosenthal stemware included the two-colour Sunflower and 1976 Papyrus ranges. Boehm collaborated with Claus Josef Riedel to create the Calyx range, whose faint mould lines became a design feature.

Approximate Dimensions: Height - 28 cm

Condition: Good Vintage Condition - of course, some reasonable wear, as for some traces of usage and time, is inevitable with vintage items of this age. One thing to notice (hard to see, but featuredon photo nr.8) is that one corner of the base at the center back has a tiny bite at the very end. Unnoticeable when standing.
