A nicely carved Duan inkstone 端砚 shaped like a squash and depicting leafs, birds, fruits and insects. The fruits and insects are shaped around stone inclusions (eyes) which were traditionally valued in China.

The stone shows natural veins and the typical 'eye' inclusions of natural Duan stone. 

The ink stone comes with a wood lacquered base and lid. 

Condition: No damage, Only minor wear/scratches at the base and some accumulated dirt. The base and cover show wear, chipping of lacquer and scratches.

The lot will be securely packaged and shipped with insurance, without the dollhouse vase and the stand.
