Si presenta una splendida statua da presepe in  Cartapesta creazione del  Maestro Baldari  maestro cartapestaio leccese, ove si trova il relativo Museo. 
Scultura  raffigurante un contadino. Realizzata dal Maestro Baldari di Lecce, specialista in opere di questo tipo. Il maestro cartapestaio é l'unico che produce anche la carta utilizzata per la creazione delle sue statue. Opera artigianale di alta qualità, perfetta per un presepe artistico. 

Si produce come nel 1600 con la stessa tecnica e gli stessi materiali. Il tempo di produzione varia dai 20 giorni ai due/tre mesi. Si parte da una struttura in ferro, poi si modella il corpo in paglia, si modellano testa, mani e piedi in cartapesta e si passa infine a  realizzare i  dettagli che rendono ciascuna statua un pezzo unico e prezioso. Altezza circa 23 cm. 
Un tempo la tradizione li voleva solo come raffigurazione sacra, mentre adesso sono richiesti come pezzi di arredamento tramandati di famiglia in famiglia o di Chiesa in Chiesa.
