Description from the seller
Beautiful and rare vintage hanging lamp in Tomasie style, manufactured in Italy in the 1970s.
This sculptural model is made of white glazed ceramic and designed as an open palm- or leaf-like structure, characteristic of an organic and luxurious style from the Hollywood Regency era.
The shade consists of overlapping leaves with refined veins and subtle point reliefs. The glossy glaze creates an elegant light reflection and a warm, diffuse light spread. Thanks to its natural, flower-like contour, the lamp has a soft and decorative appearance, both lit and unlit.
The lamp is equipped with a matching ceramic ceiling canopy and a cream-colored lampholder, giving the piece a harmonious and authentic character.
This model is a distinctive example of the Tomasie style, a style characterized by organic shapes, luxurious materials, and a sculptural, almost natural elegance.
