Despite the origins of many pillars of the Cartier design language being born in the early 20th century, La Maison has successfully evolved and shifted with the times. This Santos Galbee is the perfect evidence of that showing that a watch design created the right way over 100 years ago will forever be timeless. Don’t judge this watch by its 24mm width, as its mixture of stainless steel  on the case is remarkably wearable on a range of wrist sizes thanks to its prominent lug design. As one has likely predicted, the dial of this Galbee is textbook Cartier with black Roman numerals on top of a silver dial paired with thermally blued sword hands. However, this Galbee is an automatic Cartier meaning the watch also features a matching thermally blued seconds hand as well as a handy date window at four o’clock. Its dial is also slightly different as it's not just a silver color but also features a guilloché pattern throughout.
