The Python was gebaseerd op de Car Craft Dream Rod show car gebouwd door Bill Cushenbery. Hij werd origineel geadverteerd als de "Cheetah" in Mattel's advertenties voor de "New California Custom styled Hot Wheels," De originele 16' Python auto's waren verpakt met een metalen 'Collector's Button'.

Dit model is de vroege versie uit 1967 gemaakt in Hong Kong. Kleur is groen wat een redelijk zeldzame kleur is voor dit model.
De originele button (in metaal) is er ook nog bij.
Het model is in goede staat, alleen hebben beide voorschermen wat lakschade. linker kant is erger dan de rechter kant.

Wielen draaien soepel en vrij. Blauwe ramen en zilver interieur.
