At 25 watts per channel, the Sansui A-40 Stereo integrated amplifier sounds great, with a clear and beautiful sound. Together with the Sansui T-60 Stereo tuner (excellent reception), you have an perfect basic Sansui Hi-Fi set for a nice audition. Excellent optical appearance with minimal signs of wear, barely visible (a back corner of the tuner was repaired). The lights of the VU-meters were changed at some point, but they look very good (see the night picture). The devices are a clean and well maintained. All components are original, and together with functions have been checked and tested - impeccable operation. Great detailed and warm sound. A very nice basic Sansui Hi-Fi set.
