INDIA PAKISTAN | Two 19th century cosmetic vessels

This wonderful islamic kohl or kajal containers are very elaborate pieces and were must-have acessoires for women's beauty and eye cosmetics. Highly elegant vessels, one with an octagonal neck decorative bosses and the finest surface treatment, the other one decorated with intact bells.  Both are great examples of bronze manufacturing in the 19th century. Fantastic patina. Property from a private art and design collection. Sizes: 9 cm / 159 grams and 11 cm /332 grams with beautiful sound.
