This is a rare old "Rising-Sun"flag.
This flag, like the “Hinomaru,” is the “Rising Sun ( 旭日旗 Kyokujitsu-ki),” which symbolizes Japan.
It is a symbolic design used in numerous ceremonies and war zones.

During World War II, the Japanese used this flag to send soldiers off to war.

We can imagine women and children holding these flags when cheering.
Although the flag is small in size, it is a special, one-of-a-kind flag that expresses the deep love of support for the young soldier on his way to the battlefield.
