Totally restored by famous restorer Stefano Bianchini. The H. H. Scott Stereomaster Type 222C  Stereo Laboratory Amplifiers, with brushed brass face 110V (attention, needs a transformer 220v to 110v in Europe, as all American amplifiers of that age!!!!) The 222C has been totally restored to its functional original state. Electric specs are as when it came out of Scott in 1963.
This has included: new caps where necessary, NOS resistors where the old one went out of spec. Partial resoldering of old weakened solder points, new and NOS selected and measured tubes (Tung Sol and Mullard), total cleaning, cleanig of potentiometers and much more. All potentiometers, volume, tone, source etc work flawlessy and dont make any noise as when they where new.
Specs are back to 20-20k +- 1db and 21 watts at 1% tdh
A beautiful, warm and sweet amp to enjoy for the next 60 years!
Note: 1) remember, never never use EL84 in place of 7189 tubes. It is not the same tube. You can use 7189 in place of EL84, but not the opposite, since 7189 is a tube similar to EL84 but standing a way higher voltage. Use of EL84 on any Scott amplifier will end up burning tubes AND output transformers
2) as Extra Item, four special cable connectors have been includes (see pictures) in order to avoid diffculties or contacts when using unterminated cables. Use them if your cables are not terminated with forks.
3) no wooden case or metal case is provided. The Scott 222C can be used normally without case, or it can use different kind of cases, original wooden, new wooden, metal, metal net etc that you can source in your country or buy online following your taste.
