Dès son arrivée à Sarreguemines en 1836, Alexandre de Geiger fait réaliser plusieurs séries d'assiettes portant sur la légende napoléonienne. 
Assiette en faïence issue d’une série datant de la seconde moitié du XIXe siècle et représentant de façon idéalisée la vie de Napoléon Bonaparte : 
- Enfants ! je compte sur vous ! Oui sire, comme sur la vieille garde (1813)
- Général demain vous coucherez dans Toulon (1793)
- Voilà 3 mois que je n'habite pas d'autre palais (Napoleon et l'empereur d'Autriche-1805)
- Honneur au courage malheureux ! (1800)
- Ne craignez rien, le boulet qui me tuera n'est pas encore fondu (1814)
- Soldats, s'il en est un parmi vous qui veut tuer son empereur, le voici ! (1815)
