QUINTARELLI AMARONE RISERVA 2008 Bottle 3245 of 5838

Amarone Classico Riserva Quintarelli is a legendary Italian red wine, an authentic expression of Valpolicella Classica and comes from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes coming from an ancient vineyard owned in Negrar, on limestone soils rich in basalt. The drying of the grapes, the 20-day maceration and the fermentation with indigenous yeasts give this Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG extraordinary complexity and longevity.

Grapes: Corvina 55%, Corvinone 30%, Rondinella 15%.

Aging: 7 years in small and medium Slavonian oak barrels.

Tasting notes: Intense garnet red colour, the nose releases a broad and complex bouquet of ripe red fruit, sweet spices, tobacco and balsamic notes. On the palate it is warm, enveloping, with silky tannins and a persistent finish.
