Sarah Donley

A book of photographs by Kazumi Kurigami, Japanese "Northern" photographer. Born in Hokkaido in 1936, she lost her mother at a young age, helped her family, helped her younger siblings as the second child of her seven siblings, and left her hometown as she had been imagining since she was 24 years old. After moving to Tokyo, he studied photography at Tokyo Sogo College of Photography and became independent before he was 30. Since then, he has worked on celebrity portraits, stills and even videos, mainly in the advertising industry, and it is a masterpiece that has made a name for himself in the commercial world. After the death of his father, who died at the age of 84, this book is a sentimental story that confronts him once again with the "hometown" to which he has refused to return. Two months after my father arrived, he traveled with his beloved Robert Frank. A genius who has been active at the forefront of the glamorous world, portraying landscapes and portraits with the objectivity of the photographer and the subjectivity of homely thought. A book fascinated by outstanding senses, works full of love and affection.
