STORIA/PANORAMICA
La S1 è un'autovettura di lusso costruita dalla Bentley dal 1955 al 1959. Il motore era un sei cilindri in linea con una cilindrata di 4887 cm³.  Erano installati due carburatori di tipo “SU”, era disponibile il cambio automatico di serie e il periodico The Motor durante un test nel 1957 raggiunse la velocità massima di 166 km/h.
Questa Bentley è completamente originale come conferma tutta la documentazione della Bentley produttrice: numero di motore e colori esterni ed interni di abbinamento

ESTERNO
Il colore originale classico schema bicolore Grigio Bentley, è stato recentemente riverniciato e si presenta in buone condizioni con minimi segni del tempo, un trattamento di lucidatura e detailing è stato appena completato e la carrozzeria e le cromature sono lucide e splendenti. Un test spessimetro non ha evidenziato riparazioni significative.

Il sottoscocca è generalmente solido e ben conservato, non sono presenti tracce di incidenti

INTERNO
Gli interni sono in gran parte originali in pelle Connolly conservati, compreso il cruscotto. Sono in buone condizioni e usabili, con la plancia completa in legno e il tipico volante della serie ben conservato. Le vere radiche e rifiniture sono originali e in bellissime condizioni come ci si aspetta da una vettura di alto livello del periodo. Il rivestimento centrale in moquette anteriore e posteriore è stato appena restaurato.


MECCANICA
Il motore originale come da certificato Bentley si accende facilmente con un bel suono tondo e silenzioso. I freni sono liberi e una nuova batteria è stata appena installata, tuttavia l'auto non è stata utilizzata recentemente per anzianità del precedente proprietario e il controllo tecnico è scaduto a Maggio 2024, una ordinaria manutenzione può essere necessaria per la guida su strada.

Una bellissima Bentley 6 cilindri con una colorazione molto classica e un bellissimo interno, è un ottimo investimento anche per manifestazioni o eventi importanti.
