Very rare turntable. The Yamaha YP-400 b Gr was released in Japan in 1974 during the “Golden Era” of audiophile equipment. The YP-400 has a 30 cm aluminum platter.

The belt was replaced recently. The tonearm is equipped with an original Yamaha headshell and a brand new Audio Technica AT10G cartridge.

The entire mechanism is suspended with Yamaha's patented double-float suspension system, where the platter and tonearm are mechanically isolated from the cabinet.

The YP-400 also features an automatic mechanism with an automatic stop function. At the end of the record, the tonearm automatically rises and returns to its rest position.

The player is in excellent condition, as is the clear acrylic dust cover.

The device has been cleaned and maintained, checked and tested, which confirms faultless operation. Settings 33 and 45 both work perfectly.

A voltage converter 230 - 100 Volt is included, with which this Yamaha record player can be used in every European living room.
