Early 20th century parasol, manufactured by Paragon Fox in the UK. This elegant parasol features a bamboo shaft with wooden handle carved into a bulldog's head. The handcrafted bulldog's head features original sharp glass eyes and a white metal (potentially silver or silver-plated) collar crafted with attention to detail. The parasol has full metal fixings with a manufacturer's name holding a fabric canopy. The mechanism works well. 

80cm long x 91cm diameter when open.

In good condition with age related signs of use such as small holes / tarnishing and repair to the canopy. Please see the photos as they are the part of the description.
